Sofía learned the ropes; literally, from her father. Since she was just nine months old, the sea has been her second home, sailing every year from the Bahamas through the Caribbean to the Sea of Cortés and beyond. A yearly ritual that never stopped, that shaped her bones before she could walk. And behind it all was her beautiful mother , who showed her from the very start to always be adventurous, and to always go after her journey.
College took her to Shanghai for eight months, then Boston, then nearly five years at Google and a year at Pinterest. But since she was 17 years old, Africa had lived in her heart like a quiet fire. Then in 2023, Africa finally called back. She answered without hesitation; spending a year crossing Kenya, Tanzania, Cape Town and Zambia, before settling into Namibia for eight months. Africa didn't just inspire her, it became her.
She learned young that
the wind doesn't ask where you're going;
it simply asks are you ready
